2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1 TBSP Fresh Basil (chopped fine)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2 - 3 lb Turkey Breast Halves
6 Whole Cloves
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
2 TBSP Lemon Juice
1 TBSP Brown Sugar
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, basil, and pepper.
Rub over each turkey breast.
Insert one clove into the end of each turkey breast and one in the center.
In a large shallow dish, blend vegetable oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar.
Place the breasts in the dish, and turn to coat.
Cover.
Marinate in the refrigerator 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Lightly oil the grill.
Place turkey breasts on the grill.
Discard the remaining marinade.
Close the lid on the grill.
Cook each breast about 15 minutes on each side or until done inside.
