1 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/4 Cup Water
1/4 tsp Salt
1 1/4 Cups Peanuts
2 TBSP Light Butter
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Vanilla
Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Set aside.
Bring sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt to a boil over medium
heat, stirring until well blended.
Then, stir in the peanuts.
Next, set your candy thermometer in place.
Stir constantly whil continuing to cook.
When the mixture reaches 290 degrees, remove from heat.
Immediately add butter, baking soda, and vanilla.
Stir well.
Pour onto the cookie sheet.
Shake the peanut brittle candy a little.
Let the candy settle and cool.
Break the peanut brittle candy into pieces after it has cooled.
