2 lbs Lean Ground Beef
1 Medium Yellow Onion (chopped)
1 (7 ounce) Can Green Chilies
2 Cans Whole Peeled Tomatoes (chopped)
2 Cans Pinto Beans
2 Whole Jalapeno (chopped with seeds removed)
1 Package Ranch Dressing Mix
1 1/2 Cups Water
1 Package Taco Seasoning Mix
Salt and Pepper to Taste
8 Ounces Reduced Fat Mexican Cheese

1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet until done.
2. Drain.
3. Transfer to a large saucepan.
4. Shred the mexican cheese.
5. Add remaining ingredients.
6. Bring soup to boil.
7. Reduce soup to simmer.
8. Simmer for 20 minutes.
