1 1/2 lbs Green Beans|
1 1/2 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Light Butter
1 TBSP Sugar
3/4 tsp Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 1/2 tsp Chopped Fresh Basil
2 Cups Cherry Tomato Halves
Wash the green beans.
Cut the green beans into thirds.
Place beans and water in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Set heat to low.
Simmer until tender, 8-10 minutes.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Stir in sugar, garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper and basil.
Add the tomatoes.
Cook stirring gently just until soft.
Pour the tomato mixture over the green beans.
Toss and serve.
