6 fresh asparagus spears|
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp butter or margarine
1 tsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Trim each fresh asparagus spear and rinse.
Place asparagus in a skillet.
Sprinkle with salt.
Add 1/2 inch of water to the skillet.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 4-5 minutes.
Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave.
Add lemon juice and sesame seeds to the butter.
Pour the mixture over the asparagus.
