Easy Asparagus Recipe
1/4 cup light butter
1 TBSP olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 lb fresh asparagus spears
Trim each asparagus spear and rinse.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
Stir in the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Cook garlic in butter just long enough to melt.
Add asparagus.
Cook for 10 minutes, turning asparagus occasionally.
Serve this easy recipe with your favorite low fat meat.
