1 lb lean ground beef
2 cans peeled, diced tomatoes
1 can chili beans
1 medium onion, diced
1 packet chili seasoning mix
chili powder

Cook ground beef in large skillet until done.
Drain fat in strainer with running hot water.
Return to skillet.
Add tomatoes, beans, onion, and seasoning packet.
Stir.
Add 2 teaspoons of chili powder for spicier chili (optional).
Cook, covered on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When onions are tender, chili is done.

Serve with crushed crackers if desired.
