Bruschetta Recipe




1 Tomato
1 Onion
1/4 Cup Fresh Basil (chopped)
2 1/2 TBSP Olive Oil
1/4 tsp Water
1 1/2 TBSP Vinegar
4 Slices Italian Bread (1/2" thick)
Salt
Pepper

Preheat oven to broil.
Chop the tomato and onion very fine.
Mix the tomato, onion, basil, 1 1/2 TBSP of the olive oil,
water, vinegar, dash of salt, and 2 dashes pepper in a bowl.
Put the Italian bread in the oven until lightly browned.
Remove the Italian bread from oven.
Brush the reserved olive oil on one side of the Italian bread.
Put Italian bread back in oven until the bread becomes crisp.
Remove the Italian bread from the oven.
Add the tomato mixture on top of each slice of bread evenly.

This bruschetta serves best with any Italian style recipe.
