1/2 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
5 Cups Chicken Broth
1 Can Asparagus Pieces*
1 Medium Onion (chopped)
2 Scallions (chopped)
Cook the chicken breast and shred it.
In a large saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
Add the chicken and asparagus.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the onion and scallions.
Simmer for 10 more minutes.
Season the asparagus soup with salt and pepper to taste.
